I found out that the white runny stuff at breakfast was actually yogurt: boiled milk, then cooled again…hmmm don’t know how I feel about that. The fruit that I didn’t get to eat was papaya!!
After lunch, I got super tired all of a sudden and collapsed in my bed for 4 hours even though it got super warm by this time. Pastor H. came by at 6:15pm to go to dinner with me: rice, boiled potatoes, a tomato sauce, chicken legs and fresh Mango!!! It tastes much better than what we get in the states~ practically too sweet!! :o)
Well, tomorrow is my first day of my Kiiswahili lessons! I’m excited and a little nervous. I am also wondering where all this free time is going to come from, because my weekly daily schedule is very busy! I suppose I do take a while to journal… but I really want to get started reading my books! Once I catch up adding some photos to facebook, hopefully I will get the chance!
Starting tomorrow (Jan 11th) this will be my weekly (mon-fri) schedule:
7AM~ Breakfast
7:45~ songs/devotion in the indoor classroom
8:00~ class begins outside
10:00~ Tea break
10:30~ class
12:00~ Lunch
2:00~ class
4:00~ Tea
6PM~ Dinner
6:45~ FREE (e-mail/journal/read/study)
Mchanna Mwema everyone! (Have a good day, as it’s about 11:15am your time)!
peace and love,
Alana :)
